Super Summer!

We have been enjoying a wonderful summer here at Oh My Studio. We are thrilled that our cards are flying off the shelves of the most gorgeous shops and boutiques all over the country. We are also delighted with the new arrival to our collection soon to be launched; Winter Woodland! 12 bright and cheery festive designs. Below is a little peek at what's to come. We are also eagerly awaiting another new arrival, as most of you know, Lucie is due any day now and we can't wait! Place your bets guys . . . boy or girl / pink or blue? Eeek it's too exciting!Our 12 beautiful Winter Woodland designs will be available from September.

Oils

Last Friday was a joyful day! Lucie and I went to a beginner's oil painting class at Wistow Gallery's Artshed. What a treat. We had so much fun under the instruction and advice form the extremely talented and lovely Jane French . . . see below 

Here are our class efforts - not bad considering we were all beginners!

This is Lucie deep in concentration. We had never seen so many colours in a white flower! And below are my efforts. I think I now officially have the bug. . . just got to wait for the paint to dry now!

There are lots more classes available at the Wistow Gallery, from ceramics to watercolours - such a fab idea by Bridget - so just hop on to the website to see what is available. I can highly recommend it as a brilliant way to spend a day, in such beautiful surroundings.

Happy Days at Oh My Studio

We wanted to say a VERY BIG thank you to all of our wonderful friends and retailers, new and old, for stopping by at Spring Fair this year. We really did have a wonderful five days - there were so many highlights - but it's always the people that you meet that make the show! We can't wait for our little Feathered friends to spread their wings your way. Yippee!!

And with Valentine's Day around the corner we can't help but show you a few of our romantic favourites!! Here at Oh My Studio we don't mind admitting that are kind of suckers for a bit of love and romance. We think that sharing the love should not just be limited to one day a year (we can dream, right?!) Here are some of our romantic best ... all hand finished with love at the Oh My studio.

With just over a week to go until Spring Fair 2014, we couldn't be more excited. We've been very busy little bees creating some beautiful new designs to launch at the show. And here is a little sneaky peek...just for you! We look forward to seeing you at Stand 4K39 - yippee!

Exciting start to 2014 ...

We couldn't be more excited about our return to Spring Fair at the NEC! What an exciting start to the year. The show runs from 2 - 6 February and we'll proudly be showing over 50 new designs at booth 4K39. See you there! wa-hoo!

Feeling Festive

We had a lovely weekend treat at the Clarendon Park Christmas Fair in Leicester. Thank you to everyone who visited us. We are pleased that so many of our hand finished cards and art work were a real success and we are looking forward to releasing our new designs next year

It was extra special to see our name in Progressive Greetings this month, with a big thanks to Nest, Leicester! This was the first shop to feature our range, a year ago this month. What a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary! We are very proud to be  on the shelves of such a lovely shop!

'Really beautiful hand-drawn illustrations that do really well for us because it's a  local company. This publisher is our little star'.

For the boys . . .

We are delighted to launch our brand new 'Blackboard' collection of 9 fantastic cards, specifically designed for the boys! H'ray! We know how difficult it is to find a suitable card for those fellas in our lives!

Well, it's difficult not to be inspired by the two pairs of eyes that stare at you all day long, and here at Oh My Studio we are constantly inspired by favourite boys, Aussie and Vegas (chief and deputy DHL look-out assistants).
